چکیده
Computer-assisted forest road design mainly relies on a high-resolution digital elevation model (DEM) to provide terrain data for supporting the analysis of features. The resolution and accuracy DEM in representing structures varies depending preferred dataset which then reflects some essential features such as alignment, slope, earthwork. In this study, three sections were designed by using DEMs generated based UAV photogrammetry data, GNSS-GPS Total Station data. NetCAD 7.6 software, is domestic software used applications Turkiye, was perform while calculating horizontal profile, vertical curves, cross sections, generation capabilities datasets compared spatial resolution, collection processing stage. Then, differences between evaluated considering specified alignment properties, results indicated that (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) method provided highest (10 cm), followed (56 cm) (61 methods. It found time spent 14 minutes, 70 110 minutes works respectively. On other hand, falls into disadvantageous situation stage, due high (3 hours). However, methods work only with point so they require less 15 25 lengths 294.8, 272.4 282.1 meters average slopes 3.41%, 3.39%, 3.31% UAV, GNSS-GPS, DEMs, excavation landfill volumes 369.16 m3 166.98 m3, 285.86 201.83 433.17 183.95 can be effectively roads DEMs.

Soil surface roughness quantification using DEM obtained from UAV photogrammetry
The soil surface roughness is one of the most susceptible to variation in time and space characteristic, and depends on many variables like cultivation practices or soil aggregation. Various indices are used for its quantification, in microscale soil roughness is commonly expressed by HSD calculated from DEM of small sample area. The source of DEM can be close range photogramethry or laser scan...

DEM-based analysis of morphometric features in humid and hyper-arid environments using artificial neural network
Abstract This paper presents a robust approach using artificial neural networks in the form of a Self Organizing Map (SOM) as a semi-automatic method for analysis and identification of morphometric features in two completely different environments, the Man and Biosphere Reserve “Eastern Carpathians” (Central Europe) in a complex mountainous humid area and Yardangs in Lut Desert, Iran, a hyper...
متن کاملSimulation of the Radar Ground Clutter Based on DEM
The simulation of ground clutter is the key and knot problem in radar simulation system. The simulation of ground clutter based on DEM is studied. It is introduced how to use fractal arithmetic to produce random digital elevation. After obtaining the orographic’s height, draw the 3D terrain with the OpenGL technology, in order to realize the demonstration of 3D terrain. Based on DEM, terrain is...
متن کاملOrientation and Dem Extraction from Alos-prism Images Using the Srtm-dem as Ground Control
This paper presents a methodology of image orientation and DEM extraction from ALOS-PRISM stereopairs without the use of GCPs. It uses the approximate geo-location information derived from the sensor navigation instruments and the SRTM-DEM. The method consists in the extraction of a relative DEM, which initially is not correctly geo-referenced. This relative DEM is then matched to the SRTM-DEM,...
